Some of the Poetry Tools are an experiment in open-source educational software development using Macromedia Flash's Actionscript. It is a continuation,extension and modern application of the work that was done in K-12 education with the programming language LOGO in the 1980's.
NetLogo is a descendent of Mitch Resnik's StarLogo, developed at the MIT Media Lab. NetLogo is available for: Mac | Windows / PC | Linux so we believe it could be a particularly good platform for discussion of Open Source K-12 educational activities.
